Try your hand at making a bow tie for yourself or a loved one. This adjustable accessory will be the finishing touch to your finest outfits and comes with easy to follow, illustrated instructions.

Measurements

Finished bow tie should fit a neck size of up to 47cm / 18 ½ inches. It is adjustable and the pattern can be adapted to fit a larger neck size if required. This is detailed in the instruction booklet.

Requirements

For this sewing pattern, you will need:

• 60cm x 25cm medium weight fabric. (Try to be resourceful and repurpose old textiles if possible. You could make four bow ties out of one standard pillow case!)
• Matching or complimentary sewing thread
• 3 piece metal bow tie hook-and-slider set

The seam allowance on this pattern has been added for you. It is 1cm and is shown with the inner line on each pattern piece.
